Networking Overview
Network planning starts with the locations, users, devices, and applications that need to communicate. Ditech reviews these requirements alongside the existing equipment, access model, and operational constraints.
A defined review can cover a network inventory, connectivity map, wireless requirements, access segmentation, and configuration priorities. Site access and any testing windows should be agreed before changes are made.
Document the proposed topology, equipment responsibilities, change plan, validation checks, and handover information. Installation work, equipment purchases, and service-provider arrangements should be explicitly included or excluded.
- Requirements and environment review
- Scope and responsibility agreement
- Planned validation and documentation
- Clear handover arrangements
